Posting images

Is it possible to allow for images/gifs to be posted within threads? thoughts?

There is an "image" control, where the image is hosted on an offsite service. Unfortunately they're blocked. At the moment I don't have anysolutions - all image hosting services are blocked.

I wonder if I can attach stuff.

I'll look into the attachment system.

I've activated attachments, should host the image onsite.

Unfortunately, we only have 10MB for attachments, so compress (I recommend png) or thumbnail to save space.

Bonus, you can attach text files and documents, as well as other things.

Remember, nothing offensive please. I don't really want to have to formalise some rules. At the moment you just have to follow the forumotion rules, and perhaps keep us under the EQ filters. Don't make me change that.

It's a little more work, but placing images in your gallery can make them load faster, and allows you to place them within the post, rather than on the end. Like this:



If you have any problems, I can write a tutorial . Once you upload the picture, it provides helpful BBCode, so you just have to copy and paste.

Yes, and by using gallery, it allows the imaes to be cached by EQ, reducing downl;oads (unlike attachments, which are uncached).
