Mayor only slightly matters, but it doesn't 'not matter in the slightest'.
I don't like the idea of a no lynch on principle. If it's 6-2 which seems likely for balance, a no lynch is acceptable at some point, but I think it would be better off later than sooner.
I suggest wood>food>tools.

This is interesting too. I had braced myself for needing to defend myself for at least the first part of Day 1 after my obvious fuckup, but so many people seem content to let it slide. Which is great, since I know I'm town; but they don't (except for the werewolves, I suppose). So what should we make of this? It's worth noting that the werewolves don't know each other yet, so maybe they think I'm their buddy and are trying to protect me, which is nice, I guess.

As I said earlier, I don't think wolfsbane for mayor is bad, since it denies the obvious werewolf target, at the expense of a useful commodity. Not inherently bad, and I don't think supporting it is evidence for wolfhood.

I definitely think a lynch is better than not, since without the information of the double wood roleflip we'll go into Day 2 knowing only what the wolves want us to. Yes it's likely we lynch a town person, but we can analyse who voted when and how for this person to glean some circumstantial role evidence on Day 2.

By my reading we have 3 on food. I'd prefer 2 food and 4 wood, so Cut Wood. If everyone could declare a job ASAP we can settle and move on to the business of lynching.

Do we believe Mouth's claim of Forester? What's his reasoning for revealing that (true or not)? I'm perplexed. If you are Town, then telling the werewolves your ability means they won't waste a kill on you (which would have been a great coup for the town). I suppose it could be a bluff to trick them into leaving your powerful role unmurdered, but I'm not seeing it.

I doubt you are stupid enough to give off a blatant wolf hint before day one has even started, and while I am slightly suspicious of your post an hour after deadline, I can't get any idea of your role from it, for all I know you might suspect me and could have been trying to avoid my mayorship without causing conflict.

That makes sense now that you've claimed, but think of it this way, you hadn't claimed, wolves attacked you tonight, now you need a tool, but the wolves don't know that you need to cut wood. They wouldn't attack you twice. Now that you've claimed, the wolves just wont attack you and you've narrowed the list of targets down to others who aren't going to survive. Plus, now they know exactly how to kill you. That was just a poor move all round and I find it amazing.

I have a lot more to say on your claim which I'll get to in a bit, but why on earth would you claim that you needed a tool?
You could have left it the way it was, happily cutting wood every day and contributing to the town, and werewolves would have never dared take a shot at you.
Claiming night kill immune is bad enough, but if you're going to do it for the love of God don't claim your vulnerability as well.
