Is this game any good? Damn Alex and his self esteem lowering posts
Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
Would you find it particularly surprising for the frog man to be scum?
Eggs' pushing does not surprise me one bit. Does it surprise you?

That's terrible... ignoring who you are voting for... "i know that i am not scum so someone else must be and i dont like you"
2 things, how do we know you are not scum? Why don't you at least try and prove it. And why do you not like IICR? Why don't you try and convince us that he is scum.

Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
OK, lots to talk about.
First: this forum uses BBCode to do formatting. [b ]and[/b ] are the tags (without spaces). Or just use the buttons above the post box (push preview if necessary to bring it up).
Second: I was just joking around with tfm, but Eggs' reaction has me intrigued.
Third: tfm's craplogic will cease to be acceptable once we start some serious voting. Fortunately, that will probably be soon, looking at the thread.
Fourth: I like numbered lists.
Fifth: There are so many ways the mod could screw us over. He could set the deadline as a number of votecounts away, or make our votes sticky or something more evil I haven't thought of. Some might say we should be careful. I say, no, screw it, I'll try as much as I can, push some boundaries, see how we go. This might change Day 2.
Sixth: A closer look at Egg's last post, specifically the purple bit. That might not be Eggs talking, but another person, probably player, possibly unknown (and off the record). If it happens again, we'll need to look into it.
Seventh: I never said I want Eggs to post more, that was Overlord.
Eighth: the frog man spell checker please. Possibly a reread. As you saw last game, if we can't understand you, you're going to get lynched. You need to be able to verbalise your thoughts. It will also stop me from twitching whenever I read your posts.
Ninth: Darth, please be a little more on topic from now on. I agree, the Greens are scum, but voting for them only makes them stronger.
Tenth:
Eleventh: Numbered lists are very awesome.
Twelfth: I see tfm has claimed already. Paranoid much. We're just having some random votes, and he's claiming? I don't know what to make of it.
Thirteenth: The spelling of some of these ordinal numbers is ugly. Why does 12th need an "f"? Or 9th rhymes with "plinth"? What about 5th? Ugly.

Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
It's also bad for the town. As Overlord stated just this morning in Mk II, bulletproof should be played extra townie to draw the kill, not claimed. He's just hurt the town again . The "SCUMBUDDIES!!!1!" thing was a joke. It's far too early to tell. Just keep your eye on them.
All in all, he's not off to a good start .

Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
Alex and If I Could Rewind, do you find it interesting that Reverse Simplicity doesn't seem to think the frog man is scum?
Can everyone answer this:
How many Mind Screws have you read?
I've read the first three 'official' ones, plus the Mod Screw and 3.5 marathons, and the roles for Mind Screw 4.
Please note that there is likely to be a 'Chairman Mao' role or similar, which is hiding the rules. Also note that there are likely to be roles that can affect the rules (possibly Eggs' role).
To be clear, I am no longer considering my vote to be 'random'.

I hope you don't mind if I coment on this.
At no point have I said that I don't think tfm is scum, I just find it strange that our mod is pushing so hard for his lynch. But I guess most of the things that happen in a mindscrew game is random...
Already not liking the lack of investigation in this kind of game.
Anyway... Any idea why you, SO, have been chosen to be unlynchable today? I feel like I'm missing out on something at the moment. Like You Alex and IICR are talking in code.

Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
Well, as I pointed out before I do think tfm is scum, although I'm worried about the repocussions from a lynch this quickly I'm going to add my vote to the pool.
VOTE: the frog man
You claimed a town role that would prevent you from being night kill'd. That was stupid, then you said something like "eggs wouldn't make me scum he would pick someone better"... or the roles are picked at random...
Not that I like to use peoples old games to tell how they play in what role... but you have not changed your playstyle from the mafia game previous this one.

Too soon, too soon. Unvote
FoS: the frog man
We need to look into the person (dubbed "Mr. Indigo" by me), who is talking through the mod.
What "code" are you referring to. Also, please remember that the mod is screwing with us.

Oh hey, more from Indigo.
They could be a player, or they could be another person, off the player list.
What can you do to help us, Mr. Indigo? What can't you tell us?
And now there's an Orange. What are your credentials?

Yes, I don't want us to rush into Day 2 (no dawdling though).
We nearly had a majority. This is bad for us.Several people have only posted once/twice, and little content from there. NO LURKERS! K?

Re: Mind Screw Meadow Game Over
For the moment, I believe that 'indigo' is Eggs' player-aspect; the mod aspect is attempting some cheap distancing. I just don't think there were enoguh interested players (and the posting style doesn't look like Mikey ... in fact it looks like Eggs...)
the frog man, do you have any idea why you might be jumped on from the start of the game?
Reverse, what do you mean my 'lack of investigation'? I think any 'talking in code' might, at least on my end, be a result of my reading of Mind Screw games. Usually, events aren't random (sources can include scum, neutrals or the mod).
In past Mind Screws, there have been players that are able to post through the mod. It's been a one-shot scum ability, a player that got modkilled at the start of the game, and a player who began invisible. Also, the mod has been a player, and then later that game, another player assumed their role.
Just sayin'.
Preview: two player aspects? And omega spelling fail...
Omegga is what I said
