Oh, this is meant to be incredulous, in response to Alex ... Punctuation helps. I interpreted that as refutation of my choice to stab the hand.

I'm more concerned with getting out alive (ie not bleeding to death) than losing some hand movement. My left isn't that dexterous anyway; sure I'd miss it, but clumsy support should be good enough; better than a permanent limp.

Because if I expanded this to a larger scale, I'd rather go without a leg than without a hand.

PS: Also because I'd rather that they open the door than opening it myself. That is assuming that the door is going to be opened

An Unexpected Journey

So a bunch of dwarves and a wizard have showed up at your house, they’ve eaten everything you have and now they are asking you to come on a mission they’re planning to kill a dragon in a faraway land.

ROOM 1:

If you open the door to Room 1 you decide to go with them with the possibility of being killed by a dragon.

ROOM 2:

If you open the door to Room 2 you decide to stay at home with the now very real possibility of starving to death.

But Room 1. If they have a 'plan' to kill the dragon, they've at least given it a bit of thought and they might succeed (more likely with my help). Plus, wizards are cool. Even in the worst case scenario, killed by a dragon is probably better than starving to death (at least they might make a movie out of it).

Double Blind

So you’re out for a stroll one day and due to some very unlikely circumstances conspiring against you, you end up blinding a unattended Seeing Eye Dog while it’s owner is with some people not that far away.

ROOM 1:

If you open the door to Room 1 then you choose to do the responsible thing and go tell the owner.

ROOM 2:

If you open the door to Room 2 then you choose to leg-it and get as far away as possible before they find out.

ROOM 3:

You retreat to a discrete distance and sit down to watch, just for a few laughs.

God room 3 and two are tempting...
I'd try/want to open door 1 but I might get lost along the way and accidentally open the door with 3 on it.

I would like to retreat to a discrete distance, because a continuous distance probably wouldn't be safe enough. However, I'd probably actually tell it is owner, so Room 1.

Room 4, I kill the dog then retreat to watch

Surely it's more amusing watching a blind person being led by a blind dog, rather than just a blind person finding a dead dog?

Think of the horror that will cross his face, blind man all alone with murdered dog.

Dumbledore Dies…. SCREW YOU DAVE!!!!!

So you’ve got your hands on that time turner thingy from the Harry Potter series you now have the chance to go back in time and stop J.K. Rowling from killing off Dumbledore what do you do?

ROOM 1:

If you open the door to Room 1 then you decide to go back in time and tell J.K. Rowling from killing Dumbledore

ROOM 2:

If you open the door to Room 2 you accept Dumbledore’s fate as something that needed to happen.

ROOM 3:

If you open the door to Room 3 you go back and suggest to J.K. Rowling a total mind screw i.e. McGonagall kills Dumbledore
