So, guys, guys. What's the best strategy for the cop?

Cop waits until we are wagoning on someone day 1 imo, then they can be sure if the person is scum or not.

This is wrong. The cop only investigates at night, and t=gets their result announced the next day.

IMO, the cop should investigate N1 on the person they think is most suspicious. The longer they wait, the higher chance they'll be dead (or the game over). 3/5 people will be dead by N2.

If the cop investigates their main suspicion, either the target is proven scum, and we lynch them, or the target is proven innocent, and a presumably suspicious townie is removed from the lynch pool. Worst case scenario, the scum kill the investigated innocent, but this has similar implications as the second option.

One more thing: We lynch town today, the scum kill town tonight, we lose the game. Don't be careless with the lynch.

+1 Yes night one the cop votes for who they think is scum, this is a no brainer really... If you read the role PM.

The cop claims, what can the scum do about it? Kill them N1? They've already got their investigation off, and the scum are going to be worried about that result when deciding their kill.

2 cops claim? One is scum, and it's easy to eliminate. That will never happen. Therefore, the claimed cop is the real cop. Add their investigation, and we have a pretty good chance.

going by the simple fact that people seem to be reading only their own role pm i would conclude that Alex is not scum because of his night one kill mistake and that Reverse is not the cop.

therefore it is a good bet that Alex is town (time for a role reveal) and that Reverse is 50/50 scum or town with nobody else rally having posted that's really all I can glean for now unless i've missed something.
