You awake with a chill down your spine; you check your clock which reads 12:30. You slowly come to a realization that you have slept in. You spring out of bed, race through your morning routine and hurry out the door to work, there is a small itch on your brain, you think there is something out of the ordinary but you can’t quite put your finger on it. Just as you reach in the mailbox and discover there is not mail you have an epiphany! You realize you did not see a single person on your way to work In fact the whole town seemed to be still asleep.

You knock on a few doors but no one answers. You head home to see if there is anything on the news about what is going on. On your way you see a half dozen people in a quiet discussion and you hurry over to them. They fill you in that during the night the rest of the town was affected by some sort of mysterious poison, although there are two people who appear to have been stabbed to death. You stand there stunned for a bit and abruptly get a very painful headache that only lasts for a couple of seconds. You all decide to talk about it more tomorrow after having a deep sleep, who knows this might be all a terrible nightmare.

On your way home you notice a fog rolling into town. Nothing strange about it until you notice its colour. The fog is purple. you briskly walk to your front door steps and the fog has completely surrounded you by now. You can barely see your hand as you raise it to your face, but as you walk in the door it clears up. As the adrenaline rush comes to an end you discover that you are extremely tired and head up to bed, you are asleep before your head hits your pillows.

2. Mafia is a game. Please try to have fun while playing it. Blatant personal attacks on other players will result in modkill, auto-loss, and being blacklisted from my future games.

6. If you have the ability to edit or delete your posts, do not do so. Unless the offense is incredibly minor (i.e. fixing spelling or grammar without modifying the original content of the post), this will result in a modkill and auto-loss.
7. Unreadable text is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to incredibly small text and invisible text.
8. Dead players may not speak in the thread once they are dead. Not even a simple “Bah” post. I’ve never heard a dead body say “Bah” before.

Rules Of Voting And Deadlines:
9. Votes must be bolded and in the form Vote: Reverse Simplicity.
10. You have the option to Vote: No Lynch on any given day.
11. Unvotes must be bolded. They are not required but would be preferred (hint: if you don’t want to piss me off, unvote before you change your vote).
12. A lynch occurs when a majority is reached. For an odd number of players, this is (n+1)/2. For an even number of players, this is (n/2)+1. For example, Day 1 will have 12 players alive, and (12/2)+1 = 7 votes to lynch.
13. After a lynch occurs, there will be a 24 hour twilight. During this time everybody but the lynchee will be able to talk. At the end of twilight, the lynchee’s role will be revealed and the game will proceed into night. Note: A deadline No Lynch will caught the game to skip twilight and proceed directly into night.
14. If no player reaches a majority of votes by the deadline on a given day, No Lynch will occur.
15. If a player does not submit a night action by the end of any given night, they will not act that night.

Rules Of Activity And Prods:
16. If a player goes 48 hours without posting in-thread, they will be prodded. If they do not post in-thread within 48 hours following a prod, they will be replaced.
17. Please let your mod know if you will be on V/LA – post it in-thread and bolded or PM it directly to me. If a player hasn’t directly told me they will be on V/LA I will not acknowledge it and probably won’t even know about it.
18. If I have to prod any player more than twice per day, they will be automatically replaced.
19. Players may request a prod on another player in the following format: Mod: Please prod <playername>. This is only to be done if a player has gone without posting for 48 hours and I have missed prodding them.
20. If there are less than 10 posts in-thread within a 48 hour period I will send out a massprod. If overall activity continues to be a problem, I reserve the right to shorten day deadlines.

Day 1 begins, you awake to find yourself in this bitter reality that the previous events that occured where not a nightmare. You lace your shoes up and head to the town center again. The town is still eerily quiet.

There are others just arriving to the center and you do a headcount out loud... 4, 5 and you is 6. Supreme overlord is missing. You all scurry over to his house and find him tied in ropes and his head has been cleanly cut off.

Supreme Overlord has been killed, nothing was found on him to reveal his identity. Probably because he was tied up he never had a chance to defend himself.

Why is there no info? Will we get flips? I hate it when you don't know what you've achieved from a lynch.

So, who killed Overlord? And I wonder if "nothing was found on him" means that it was taken by someone? Does this mean that someone knows his role, the killer perhaps?

Seems possible, very unfortunate.

Maybe it's similar to my game and you always don't know who killed who, maybe it's a ability and maybe it was because he died before the game started.

Going by what Reverse said, it's going to stay that way.

I think we should look at it more after we have more than one result.

Well, we all had night actions, either a roleblock or a kill, to use Night 0. After the resolution of the actions, Overlord was dead. He was also roleblocked.

I can confirm that lord was rb'ed. I got a message stating that someone roleblocked me and I was tied up.

Talking about night 0 actions are basically useless I sugest trying to find scum instead.

Normally I'd agree, but this game is different. Everyone has actions, either a kill or a block or both. We get extra information on the night actions (we know whether Overlord was blocked and each player is PM'd with their roleblock status).

I thyink it's as good a way to start the day as any.

I had got the same pm that eggs got. it said that someone tied me up in my sleep.
