so deadlines near ? ... does this mean we push for mass name claim? maybe it holds a key to this puzzle ... do we nolynch? let the nightkillers slip through whilst assuring we don't mislynch ?

Mod, it's been less than two days, but we seem to be under some time pressure. Can you chase up Brendo; has he even picked up his role PM yet?

OK, so Day 1 started at noon Sunday, and the sunset warning was supposed to be at about 9:30-10pm Monday. 34 hours? I can't see anything particularly interesting about that number.

Dammit, Sid; I find myself agreeing with pretty much all you say here.

So in light of this, I'm going to get claiming. We don't really have time (probably) to figure out a proper claiming order - but if you're not claiming, have a good reason. So, along with character names, please claim info that might help and shouldn't hurt.

I'm 'Dr Who' - written exactly like that. Yeah, apparently it's not a mistake. I'll let you guess my origin. I don't have a particular role name, like 'Town Time Traveller' (that may not be a description of my role, it's just fitting in the the obvious flavour) - does anyone else have a role name (as opposed to character name)?
I know that there is a kind of 'super jailkeeper' role in the game (my words) - roleblocks and makes untargetable. So this won't be very useful in protecting investigative roles.
I have reason to believe, but am not certain, that there may be more than one killing role in the game - by which I mean more than two mafia sharing a kill.

I actually don't think we need to be too worried about shortened deadlines. I don't think short deadlines would be a concrete part of the game; Eggs knows that coordinating a lynch in less than two days is nigh-impossible and would let Mafia pick us apart.

Alternatively, if the shortened deadline is an ability, it's likely one-shot, to avoid the same problem. In either case, Eggs should have anticipated exactly what's happening right now, and accounted for it.

And if the ability is designed around getting a little-info no-lynch Day 1, we can probably roll with it and get what info we can from massclaim.

So it looks like prods (or equivalent rule-breaking) are two days without posting. Whether weekends count as one day remains to be seen, but it's safer to assume not.

So hopefully Brendo will post soon, or something will happen there to get that role engaged.

Also, Alex, that was a real question (perhaps not phrased very well). Are you a bunny? Or are you deliberately concealing which 'Angel' you are?

Well, my conceit was that since this was Mind Screw, I assumed that almost/everyone would be a power role. I do wish people had been able or willing to claim just that a particular ability was in the game, if not that they had it themselves. Might be a bit obvious if Alex or Sid claimed now, though. Also, keep in mind that Rewind, Darth, and Brendo haven't had a chance to claim yet.

I would have assumed even before starting that we've at least got town, Mafia, and some sort of neutral/extra win cons on regular players. By my role information, I'm expecting at least town, Mafia, and serial killer.

Side note: Reverse, it might be just me, but you seem to be getting a bit more legible. Which is good.
