You awake, in a very familiar place, you’re sure you’ve never been here before, but something about the place… It speaks to your nightmares, and they respond.

There are others with you, a more rag tag group has never been seen, But beggers can’t be choosers, any company is good company right?

The sun is touching the horizon, it appears to be just after dawn. Odd, you never get up this early.

You should probably get going, you think to yourself, gotta go- wait was that a voice?

You look around, and notice a solitary tree, under said tree (which you are pretty sure wasn’t there moments ago) stands a man, well, at least you think it’s a man, his outline blurs in a way that is making your brain hurt just looking at it.

“Hello?” you ask.

The man looks up, he seems dejected
“Why do you people keep returning?” he asks, barely above a whisper.

“I… I’ve never been here before” you stammer

His eye twitch, as though he is looking at something only he can see. He sighs.

“Very well, you know what must be done.” He turns to leave.

“Wait! I have no idea what you are talking about!” you cry, noticing how the others stir at your voice.

He turns back
“Taste the Rainbow” and vanishes.

Its still not bad enough to warrant lynching you over the incredibly scummy alex but I've gt my eye on you.

I love being called "incredibly scummy" for one rainbow self vote and then unvote. The orange speech implies someone has a primum non nocere condition. Reverse softclaims it and then proceeds to jump on the biggest bandwagon. I think everyone needs to just calm down.

This sounds like a more subdued contrast to orange's first excitable message.

And yet here orange is subdued as well. 'Inverse character of unknown complexity' is awkward, but does seem to point towards Reverse; unless there's a character that fits that description.

Reverse, why vote Alex? RVS vote switching (Eggs -> Sid -> Alex) is fine, but you (probably) took Alex to L-1, which I just voted Rewind for.

I'm assuming this is a joke. But just in case, you claimed it was a vote to test something, when the previous vote count had already shown that it worked. Hence you had no good reason to take someone to L-1, and I voted you etc etc.

You will not win if no one is lynched Day 1?
Is it specifically Alex that has to die specifically Day 1, or are there a few different conditions and 'Alex Day 1' happens to be one of them? Does it have to be a lynch, or can it be a daykill?

A no lynch does not fulfil my win condition entirely, nor does alex's death. In fact I don't know my whole win condition at this stage.

Apologies for the brevity of the previous two posts; they were sent from my phone on a mobile connection. I don't recommend it.

So. Can we conclude that orange is lying? Reverse claims it so, and "proves" it by voting me closer to death.

Slightly related: sorry about the misinterpretation of you, Reverse. I was confused when you misused the word "infer". The reader infers, the author implies.
I assumed that Reverse had inferred that it was his role that won by not killing, from what orange said. I then wondered why Reverse would vote, if that was the case. This was the mindset of the post above.
Upon further reading (with a PC screen today), I think Reverse is claiming that orange was implying it was Reverse's role that wins by no one dying, and Reverse is denying it.

Feel free to confirm or deny that you were neither confirming nor denying this.

So, Indigo, what can you tell us? Has Olive been around lately? What do you think of us lynching Eggs?

Pretentious Latin, Overlord? I am hurt. I used it because it fit so perfectly: "First [day], do no harm".

If we're concluding that Orange is lying, does that mean Reverse wins if someone dies every Day, or that someone who isn't Reverse wins if no one dies? Or both? I am inclined to believe the former.

Rewind: Can you justify why you think I am "incredibly scummy"? I am never one to rush for a lynch, and I wanted to demonstrate the colours (at risk of mod reprisal). Overlord (somewhat jokingly) voted for me, but then you piled on top, taking me (in a normal game) dangerously close to a lynch, with no reasoning at all,

sorry I'm late, at this point in time I really have nothing to add, I'm keeping my mind clear by not trying to guess the meaning behind anything.

Though I do find it odd, usually in MS Overlord calls for a mass claim very early on which hasn't happened here (just something to think about).

'Usually'; from that one time... But fair point, and (of course) I have my reasons. Which I will explain.
You'll recall how I've been bitten by faulty assumptions in the last couple of games? Well, early massclaim relies on two major assumptions: 1) There is a Town majority and 2) The Town is high-powered. Going by the last two MS games, neither of these assumptions have held, and it would be stupid to assume that they hold in this one. So, no massclaim calls from me (yet).

Also, in MS2 I had a role that was very well suited to claiming. Not so this time. But Reverse ruined the fun, so I'll divulge some interesting information. I can post as Indigo through the mod as many times as I like. I don't currently have a win condition; this role expires at the end of Day 1, and I get a new role for Day 2. So I'm unlynchable and unkillable until then. I have a certain task to fulfill by the end of Day 1, and if I succeed, I get a mod reward. Rest assured, if I join your faction Day 2, I'll share it with you.

Let's assume that Orange/Reverse has a similar role to me by symmetry. He's probably not worth lynching. He'll probably get a new role Day 2. His reward condition either a) opposes mine, or b) is similar to mine, with different specifics. I'm guessing a) at the moment.

Shall I share my reward condition? I'll be happy to, so long as you don't get all contrary and specifically not do it to spite me. If I do, I'll also continue speculating about what Reverse's reward condition could be. Here's hoping you respect my openness and willingness to cooperate ...

Testing unlynchable claim sounds like an good idea but i'd leave that as a last resort ... Afterall no use lynching an unlynchable if before deadline we can find a viable lynch
